I voted no, but only because every reply to his post will then be pointless. I mean, there must be like 10 serious replies out there which will then lose meaning.
The thing about coryallen is that he's got all the right stuff at heart. He really wanted to become a mod so that he could fight spam (oh the irony) and he's always interested in MB's best, he just doesn't know what it actually is or how to go about it. Because of this, he's gotten way-way-way more chances than anyone else here. However, I agree a permaban is what will be best for the site. Many of us mods have tried, patiently sending him PMs cutting deals with him, explaining him how to edit or multi-quote, pleading him to shape up or try to scare him into behaving. So far, there's been a tiny bit of progress, but not enough to save him. He's still treating the boards like a chat-room, often making one-word posts and derailing threads with nonsense. He never learned not to be a pain in the ass.
.. Ugh, now I actually regret voting no :(
*changes no to yes*
So maybe we're e-mmortalizing him. Let's do it proper and make an example then.
