@Urban Hatemonger: I am not sure what your avatar actually is but it looks like Samantha Carter from the Stargate television series.

Nah, most of my friends are very sarcastic, I'd say I was very sarcastic myself. So I kinda relate it with people my age. Older people I know are more mature, and bluntly say things instead of being sarcastic about it :D but then again thats just people I know! :)

Bump.
I want to change the question to how old people see you as? I have constantly been referred to or guessed at 18-19 years old. Today I wore a tutu-like skirt and pearls which most likely reduced my age perception. The woman driving the bus that I got on gave me a child ticket (18 and below). She didn't even ask ID! Like 5 minutes before that I was at the pharmacy getting my repeats and the pharmacist said I looked 19 and I told her that sometimes I get given child bus tickets. Now that isn't very often, but it was seriously a coincidence that it happened right after that discussion. |

People generally overestimate me aka 21 or so when I'm 19. The secret is facial hair I guess.

That's okay, perhaps I should take a picture of it for scientific reasons? I do love my legs. I bought wedges the other day which are super tall and it made my legs look toned (but they're not really lol!). Oh and for reference to my last post, I'm turning 27 in two months. |
I'm 19, but people view me as a few years older than I am, usually in the 22-26 range.

I haven't shaved since then actually. It's pretty gnarly.

Grizzly Adams.

I live amongst the bears

I'd say I pretty much act my age most of the time, 23, while here. It all depends. If I'm in an exceptionally good mood, I act 12. If I'm in a crappy mood, I act 70 and widowed. I think my lack of interest in debate, or extraneously long conversations in general, can be confusing, as those things are usually a good indication of age.

Have you seen Grizzly Man?

I have actually, it's kind of fascinating.
It's kind of weirdly poetic how it all ends. |
I liked it too. The scene of the two bears fighting is awesome footage.

I think because I dress very girly it can make me look very young. I can be rather princessy. |
who I am online is pretty much the same person I am in person; I disappear/fall out of contact with several people for weeks on end, don't talk very much, and I'm ultimately partial to very few people.
people who meet me for the first time always think I'm very young, but I can easily imagine that someone online, who may have never seen my face or had the time to know me, could think that I was in my 30s or even 40s (just based on my obsessions alone). I'll be 25 this year. I don't usually mention it in certain circles because I already know I'm older than most people I know (and that's horrifying). |

I try to act as mature as possible, and I think it has worked pretty well. Some people get surprised when they hear my age, and I appreciate that.
|
These are all just a wild guess.
Briks - early 20's Butthead - 16 Batlord - 30 something Roxy - 30 as well? Trollheart - 40+ Frownland i thought was at least 40, don't know why but i got a mature vibe from him Paul i thought was like 18 or around that age. :p: |

Yes maturity is associated with being boring in my eyes, deal with it. |

Unlike a lot of women, I am actually ****in stoked to turn 30. For a couple reasons. One, I am completely comfortable with whom I have become, during those self discovery years. Now I just walk it in with comfort, ease, and not giving a ****. (And that is hot.) And I don't get riled up the way chicks in the early 20's and mid 20's do. Uhnuhn, cause I know things. I know whatever it is you think is a major issue when you are 22,23,24 don't mean jack **** 4,5,6 years later. |

i can't even binge like i used to in my 20's, so if you wanna eat shrooms and go on a 3 day hike through a forest count me out! i did that, and yea i saw the spaceship and yea it blew my mind but i can't keep doing that forever. (this got really personal) |
Just cause I am 30 doesn't mean I am above dropping mushies and dancing in the dirt. Or having a sexathon. No I am not above that. My ideas of fun haven't changed. I am just comfortable in my skin. I just meant that I am not going through trying establish my identity. That comes with your 20's.
I agree I don't party like I used to. But I don't want too, I mean I enjoy getting pleasantly ****ed up on my couch. Just means, I don't act like an immature ******* in public. If I get wasted it's gonna be in the privacy of my own home. Age brings wisdom. Wisdom says they south likes to send you to prison for dumb ****. Wisdom says get ****ed up on the couch and **** around on the internet. No cops there. Ha! |

That's my biggest change as i turn older, i don't want to party like i used to. i pretty much agree with all of this it's the same sh*t i do. |

I'm 23 but often get mistaken for being a lot younger in person. I suppose I act around my age though.
