I think people confuse maturity with pretentiousness.

I'm self admittedly immature and incredibly defensive, whenever my values are threatened I can be a real d*ck. My feeling has always been that if you're a jerk you deserve to be treated with as little respect as possible. So I'm only nice to people I think are worthy of being nice to.

Also I'm flattered by Fasho's guess of 40. But I think I act my age most of the time, except when I get into a nasty argument and then I turn 12. Though sometimes people treat me like I'm they're annoying cantankerous grandpa who can't stop talking about the good ol' days.
