Dude it sucks. But it's less about the quality of the building itself, and more about the quality of the people shitting, or making any of the loud & inconsiderate noises they make. I mean.. It's worse with the neighbors downstairs. They have what I'm assuming is an autistic kid or something, is about 5 years old, who does nothing but scream and constantly talk loudly without using words, only squeals. The mom bathes him in their bathroom, which is directly under mine, and he uses this opportunity to bang against the tub and flail around, screaming. Meanwhile, the mother seems to be encouraging him by sounding like she's doing the same. They're Indian, and she doesn't speak English, and she has a really high pitched voice. Sometimes I can't distinguish between the kid and the mom, and it has nothing to do with the FUCKING FLOOR SEPARATING THE TWO APARTMENTS... seriously.

Or the neighbor behind me who's black enough to really enjoy loud bass, but white enough for it to be cheesy bass lines... Yea, she apparently decided to put her SUBWOOFER against the wall directly where my head is when I'm sleeping. Fortunately she only plays music on special occasions, but those occasions invariably take place when I'm sleeping.

Heh.. I should have put this in the bitch box, maybe.

Hahaha. That's horrible. Normally I'd say "why don't you go say something about it", but I haven't said anything about my situation. I let the cheesy bass lines slide because they don't happen often enough for it to be a problem. I mean, this lady listens to music pretty much solely on holidays.

I guess it's just the price you pay for the price you pay. My rent is only 670 a month, and the place isn't bad or ghetto by any means (Louisiana is a pretty affordable place to live).. I just got the unluck of the draw regarding my neighbors.
