Same here! I find that most people who drive H3's, or any Hummer, have some sort of inferiority complex. Like their truck is making them feel validated in some way.

Aren't so many axe murderers in Europe I'd say. s_K, that looks like a fantastic place to live, if you have a car My dad lives down in the sticks, in a small cottage, and I love going down there, but it is so disconnected from all my friends and the city that I wouldn't be able to live there!

As for living in cities, I think it depends on the city. I'd hate to live in a massive City like London, but somewhere like Sheffield, which it essentially like an emalgamation of little towns, which disappears directly into mountains on the west side is somewhere I wouldn't mind living, cause you can have a house right on the edge of the wilderness, and still be a 20 minute drive from the city centre.

That is like the city I live in at the moment but the drive is more like 5-10 mins to get to the city area of it. I live in the city area though but it's cool though because it's close to the river. I'm two blocks away from the river. My mother's place she could see the river from her living room. It was pretty awesome. She had a lazyboy set up in just the right position so you could just sit in it and zone out looking at the river.

Almost everyone I know has a car.
I don't know what it's like overthere, but here there's not really a reason not to have a car, except for the fuel prices

Well see in the city there is this little thing called limited parking and it gets quite annoying. I mean in my city it's not too bad but down in NYC it can get down right awful.

It's pointless to own a car if you live in NYC, there are buses and subway trains to get around everywhere or you could just walk.

Or use a bike.

A good reason to NOT have a car is to be environmentally conscious.

Massive insurance costs for male drivers under 25 here and in the UK.

Yes, but I was talking about not living in the city. I wouldn't know why you have to live in a city 'because you don't have a car'. Just get out of the city and get a car .

As far as environment goes; As long as people are stupid enough to keep buyin Priuses, I don't think the environment is getting any better anytime soon .

Maybe because you've had a car most of your life but it's not that easy plus I rather live in the city anyways.

if you don't have a car, you also aren't going to want to live out in the boonies where you can't really get around or to the nearest store without one.

Based off some some studies they love to charge males under 25 very high insurance.
