Last weekend, Split, Croatia, Gay pride parade.


Sometimes it takes guts to be gay. I salute anyone out there fighting for their right to equality. It all starts by coming out.

Sure its a pretty tough decision to make in a country such as Croatia. But to thine own self be true.

That didn't happen overnight anywhere though, people had to stand up and fight.

Anyhow, it's unfortunate that the thread starter has a very negative reputation here, this could have been a decent platform to discuss the importance of coming out. There may actually be some members here who are still struggling with this issue...:\

That didn't happen overnight anywhere though, people had to stand up and fight.

And with a lot of help from the straight community too.
There's a whole area of central Manchester called the Gay Village.
It's a great place for a friendly night out for all sexualities.
Probably one of the safest parts of the city.
Sadly, Croatia looks like it's a lifetime away from that situation.

The thread starters reputation on these boards are his own doings, but there's still hope for the thread.
Although, I suspect some may be that far inside the closet, they're virtually life citizens of Narnia by now.

Yeah that was the intent of the thread but people only take it as the thread starter declaring that he's gay once again which isn't the intent of the thread at all.

It's supposed to be a safe haven for people that are struggling with issues about coming out to talk about in here.
