Yes I can.

"Hey do you know where Sarah is?"
"Yeah, they went to the grocery store."

Ta-da. I might not be as eloquent or literate as Shakespeare but I'll be damned if someone's gonna tell me what I can and can't do with a word.

Third-person singular ≠ third-person plural

Is it that hard to consider that some people don't consider the feelings of everyone who hears/reads their thoughts before making them? If you've become so incredibly self aware to identify with a non-binary gender, you should know that your feelings might not be immediately addressed whenever anyone around you mention someone in the third person. I understand where you're coming from because accepting people as who they are is generally a good idea, but it's also generally a good idea to speak/type in a manner that makes sense since that's how communication tends to work.

It's not hard to consider that at all, if that's the point you're making I obviously missed it. The point I was making was that people should immediately address my and/or anyone else's gender because that's just the right thing to do. Anything else is marginalizing, perhaps especially excuses. They is better than s/he and that's the end of that. I'm having trouble enough staying lucid. If I'm out of line or missing a point it's because I've barely been able to function for about a week or multiple years or whatever.

Batty, if this were in a journal it would be a shoe-in for Post of the Week, even Month (Hey....) ****ing brilliant!

Whateverdude, I don't wish to be flippant but if you have a problem with gender identity shouldn't you change your username to something more neutral? That's not meant to be a joke, but anyone who does not know you here is going to naturally assume you're a guy, and if you have a problem with people identifying you as a guy, maybe that's a good place to start?

ETA: Oh and I'd just like to point out the obvious, that a thread about quizzes has suddenly gone wildly off-topic and should, possibly, have its recent content dropped into a new thread perhaps labelled "Gender Identity issues" or something. Just a suggestion...

This is in the "Games, Lists, Jokes and Polls" section. I think we're good.

I got neutral. The answers for the questions to that test were awful.

Also, a customer the other day said "Yes, mam" in a completely serious, unjoking manner (they were old and whatever else)... I still felt like myself because I'm comfortable with and know who I am. Maybe when you get there it won't be such a big deal.

I'm sure it was also a comfort to know she was blind as well.
