Default A Favorite Song By A Local Or Regional Band

It doesn't necessarily have to be from your locality or region, as long as it's by an artist that doesn't tour/isn't known on a national/international scale.

I've lived in Cincinnati for over half my live. One of my favorite bands was the Libertines (not to be confused with The Libertine from across the bond). Here's a song that draws an analogy between playing a lottery and looking for love:

Melbourne band The Orbweavers have been around for years. This is their song Pins and Hummingwire.

Frontier Trust - Noodle (Psalm of the Reckless)

One of the best live bands to see at the Cog Factory in Omaha in the early 90s. More importantly a fun band that didn't take themselves too seriously. Put out one album and called it a day.

We called it Tractor Punk. This 2024 article touches on their impact on the local Omaha music scene.

When this great track was released in 2010 Grimes was absolutely a local Montreal act, part the then thriving Montreal pop scene. Her international breakthrough came in 2012 with Oblivion
