How many CDs do you own?

This doesn't include like burned/ripped CDs, but ones that you actually purchased with your own money or were given. I own about 75 CDs, but I share some similar tastes in music with my dad and he owns over 100. How many do you own?

Xarius 12-23-2003 10:22 PM

Runaway 08-26-2004 10:21 AM

Im not saying that any of the above arent good, but isnt it more about quality than quantity?

Bartender 08-27-2004 06:35 PM

So, once I've got two dozen or so incredibly high quality CDs, I should never buy anything again?

Zee 08-27-2004 06:46 PM

About 289, when I get to the 300 mark I'll celebrate.

AmyLeeFan 08-27-2004 11:55 PM

I now have 18 CDs.

Nope thats not what I meant. I have hundreds of CDs but alot of them are from when I was younger and am relatively embarrassed about them. I wouldnt throw them away but then I wouldnt really count them either...

Social_14_Enemy 10-25-2004 06:04 PM

probably somewhere around 90-100....all the Limp Bizkit CDs (if youve read my other posts/threads...go figure lol)...prety good for a 13-year-old, eh?

covle 10-25-2004 08:11 PM

bartender, you cant be bothered counting your cds, but you can be bothered writing them all out, which would take about 10 times as long.....odd.
i own over 200 cds. my friend reached the 1000 mark last month. bastard works for a mag and reviews about 4 a week and gets to keep all of them. gets me heaps of cds though which is cool

David Frost 10-25-2004 08:17 PM

Mr.MojoRisin 10-26-2004 12:50 AM

I put all of my cd's onto a spreadsheet last weekend for insurance purposes (good tip for you there, security fans) and it came to 937. I'm not sure whether to be proud or embarassed by all that money spent.

jibber 10-26-2004 07:32 PM

^ holy sh*t, that is a lot of money. let's say an average of $15 per CD, $14,055. wow, think of all the skis that could buy....a pair for pow, one for park, one for ice, one for rails...not to mention lift tickets, or a heli trip in europe...

Jesus Of Suburbia 10-30-2004 12:34 AM

about 100 give or take, plus 4 music dvds

I used to get 30% discount when I worked in a record store, which accounted for about 25% of those cd's, and I love picking up cd's cheap in sales, but damn, it's still a lot of money.

Skis wouldn't do me much good though, Birmingham isn't exactly the iciest of places.

MacDaddyX12 10-30-2004 06:18 PM

I own just over 50 cd's i think...any they cover everything from michelle branch to rage against the machine to dj tiesto. Good times...

jibber 10-30-2004 06:22 PM

^^ nice deals on the cd's. well, in your case I would use the money to move to whistler, or Are in sweden. but back to cds, not sure how many i have, i'd guess about 80-90.

Uknown_Egde 10-30-2004 09:58 PM

300+

Skank 11-04-2004 06:06 AM

I have about 200 bought CD's. The rest are from magazines, burnt and EP's/singles/demos. I have about 230 CD's i think.

*Josie* 11-06-2004 12:53 AM

I own about 70 cds, but I have heaps more on my computer

Abigail 11-06-2004 03:31 AM

I own 30 CDs .. not bad ! I don't like buying CDs actually !

riseagainstrocks 11-06-2004 06:25 AM

54 bought cd's
12 burned
and if I burned all the music on my computer that I get from label sites than it would probably be about 10-15 cd's worth.

AntisepticDying 11-06-2004 10:42 AM

79 cd's and burned CD's... not even going to bother counting those. lol

Han 11-06-2004 10:51 AM

Loads, cant be arsed to count. soz
