How on earth does someone ruin a Brian Adams song?

When I was in my band we used to routinely ruin Summer of 69 with ska breaks and stuff. The kids loved it

except i'm sure you weren't ruining it, any change to that song would be an improvement. Whoever mentioned madonna's cover of american pie is dead on, i think that has to be one of the worst covers in the history of music.

I don't think I've ever heard a bad version of Summer of '69 - even at kareoke! It is just the sort of song that gets everyone groovin along. I guess the more influenced you are by alcohol, the better it sounds.

...you just get to hear a worse version that was played too much!!!What a damn shame, ya know?

No I don't know.

But you really are an annoying fuck.

I personally like what AAF did with it.
