Gary Jules-Mad World
The tone of it is just incredibly sad, and depressing.....
although I love it

Sarah McLaughlin-Angel
I always think it's a meditation on death,
and when she sings, 'may you find some comfort here',
it's so sad, because I think there are so many people out there who wonder if death is more comforting than life.
I'm not really suicidal, but sometimes I do wonder that myself.

I have a pretty hard heart, but Richard Thompson's 1952 Vincent Black Lightning makes me cry every time. Townes Van Zandt's Tecumseh Valley is another one.

Default I have em' right here for you.

Stronger Now by Jani Lane (on a Warrant cd) Incredible lyrics...tear jerky melody
You Don't Say Anything by Keith Whitley...although Allison Krause did a sweet job.
Over the Rainbow by Eva Cassidy (She passed away due to cancer, but she created the best version of this song...search it on youtube).
