Most of the cds I own was when I was 12 there was a pretty cool store in my little town and I would steal change from my parents and pay for used cds in quarters.

my trick to getting lots of cds back in the day was mail order clubs like columbia house and BMG music. you'd get better deals if you stuck with the company too. by the time i finished high school i'd always get either "buy 1 and get 2 free" or "buy 1 and get 3 at half price" offers every 6 weeks or so.
