Remember when you were so excited for Christmas that you couldn't fall asleep? That'll probably be me tonight. Even if I am pretty bummed that Lombardo won't be playing with Fantômas. |
Just drink till you pass out.
|
I'm gonna get as wasted as I can stand before I go in since the venue have super restrictive rules on any kind of liquids. I'll probably get a beer or two while there but I've rolled around ten joints, half with hash, for the show, so passoutability level goes up two or three points.
|
EDIT: I now understand what your post meant. I'm trying to be well rested for the show.
|
I'm already wasted.

Spoiler for spoiler:
Why am I just learning about this show now :( |

Well, more like not drinking at the end of the night so you can be sure you're hydrated. Plus my coworker bought me shots, am I just supposed to refuse them?

Melvins coming here in the autumn.
Anyone seen them recently? Is it worth it? |

Didn't notice them there, next to Fantomas. Hope you'll be able to remember anything. |
Just got back from a concert with a bunch of local metal bands. It was a Metal BBQ. Food sucked but the band's were all decent enough.

Comrade Corbyn giving a speech before RTJ. I'm gonna spew.
Edit - Nutter talking about messages to Trump written on the wall around the festival: Build bridges not walls. On the wall. Keeping people out. Also women are great. |
Go on Corbs
He is on the left He's not on the right Jeremy Corbyn Makes Tories look shite  |
seems like brits will sing about anyone if you give them a chance tbf
|
I'm basically at the front for Tove Lo. Boobage getting captured.
|
Was going to go see Incubus, decided against it. Thinking about going to see the Foo Fighters since they just announced a tour. Side note: That new single, "Run", is great.
Other than that, small local shows I suppose. Nothing pops into my head at the moment. |
I'm hella missing Melvins while I sit in traffic.

Melvins - Missed them but the bit I heard from the line was righteous.
Fantômas - Excellent top notch performance that was crazy precise and similar to the albums. They didn't have enough presence for that large of a venue (I think their sound guy might have just sucked) and their stage was too cluttered to really tell what they were doing. Clutch - Absolutely blew me away. One of the funnest bands I've ever seen. Primus - Badass. Tool - The loudest, so they gave me what I wanted on that level. They had an amazing visual display that I wish I was higher for. They played a long set, too long imo, but they probably wouldn't have played Opiate material (their best imo) if it was shorter. I've honestly nnever seen a more excited and passionate crowd, for better or worse. Great shows all around nonetheless. Venue is garbage. It was so mother****ing hot. It was a good experience. |

Acid Mothers Temple are coming to my town in September.
Can't wait. |
Aww sheeit, have you seen them before (I think you mentioned that you saw SWR or maybe it was just a very similar line up)? They're the best performers I've ever seen in my life tbh.
