Los Lobos and Los Lonely Boys next month. It'll be a nice wind-down after my summer DG tour. Here Come the Mummies after that to celebrate the life of my good friend who passed away a couple years back. It was his favorite band and we went to a HCTM concert every year. It's gonna be a little painful, but it'll also be good for us. He'd have wanted us to be doing this.

Downtown Boys coming to my town on Sep. 9th. Big fan of "Full Communism" and "Cost Of Living" is slowly working it's way to my heart. They played in my area a few years back but I missed them so I'm pretty stoked to be seeing them soonish. Not to mention tickets a the moment are only 6 bucks.

I saw colleen green and a bunch of other pretty good bands last night. her stage presence was different from the last show, she's really dark and spooky looking when she's singing songs about TV and being bored. Still a good show, I think I prefer her on record though. The place had pretty good sound for such a small place, too. The crowd was really ****ing lame for the most part. La Femme are playing soon in SF too, can't wait for that.

Liking Tool certainly warrants dismemberment.

NIN are kinda nice though. inconsistent but nice.

It's been awhile, but I'll stand behind Pretty Hate Machine as at least highly decent.

NIN is industrial music for people who think that Slipknot is the heaviest band that ever lived.

I just think they have some solid pop tunes with some extra influences to sweeten the pot.

Just bought my tickets to the second to last Swans show at the Warsaw in Brooklyn with Anna Von Hausswolff opening. Seeing them last year was a night I'll never forget so November 3rd is probably my most anticipated day of the rest of the year. So f*cking excited.

Downtown Boys tonight. Mexican punk band that some of you may know about. I'n not the biggest fan of their records but I'm sure they're gonna put on a great show and it's only $8 so I'm slightly stoked.

So the concert was pretty crazy. I got to get onstage and held the singers hand for like 3 seconds and sang into the mic she gave me. The funny thing is when she gave me the mic, it was a part in the song where she speaks Spanish and I had no idea what to say so I just screamed "YEAAAAH"
