I would have loved to have gone. I tried to twist the arm of a few people I know but with no joy. So, enjoy it Janszoon! Make sure to let me know how awesome it was to further piss me off, wont you?
Heh. Well, if it makes you feel better I'm going alone. I invited the only other M. Gira fan I know in Philly but a Tuesday night concert is a tough sell.

The Flaming Lips and Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti tonight!

I might be a little too excited.

Just bought a ticket to the Corin Tucker Band.
Should be a good time.

Justin Broadrick and Jesu are coming to Atlanta. Making my trek up there to hear that.

Definitely worth the trip and ridiculous amounts of cash about to be shelled out.

A Day To Remember, Underoath, The Word Alive, and Close Your Eyes.
Since there's no Florida dates, I'm going to Nashville, TN to see them.
November 27th. (:

Where were you? I got 322 so I was pretty high up :/.

Nevertheless, it was a stellar gig!

208! I love that they covered Audioslave, ACDC, The Animals, and Hendrix. I love that they spent 99% of their nearly 2-hour-long set jamming, instead of blabbering on about their days and trying to interact with the crowd. I loved the drum/bass solo on the rotating platform. I loved Matt's outfit.

However, I didn't care for the fact that played ALL of the Resistance (aside from I Belong To You) and NONE of Showbiz. I also thought that Passion Pit, even though they're a new band with only one album, really showed zero enthusiasm for the event. The only thing they did was let their singer stumble around the stage as if he was drunk.

Muse, though,

You have no idea how jealous I am! Enjoy

If I can scrape together the cash, I might see Exodus in a few days time. And the Fall is coming to NZ this December! I'm considering seeing the Pumpkins, the National and Leonard Cohen as well (shit's expensive though).
