Looks like I'll also be seeing Opeth, Ghost, and Mastodon, although the only show that I'm actually REALLY anticipating is the Ghost one. I haven't really liked the last few Mastodon albums and I've already seen Opeth before so that will just be treading old ground. I haven't looked at how much tickets are, but I'm assuming they're going to be somewhere in the $40-$60 price range. I dunno, I'm not as excited for this one really, but considering I haven't seen a show since May and I've been complaining about nothing good coming to town, I kind of feel like I should go to this.

Megadeth and Motorhead are performing a concert here in Montreal today. I would have loved to go, have been listening to Megadeth for years. I would do anything to hear Symphony Of Destruction, Sweating Bullets and A Tout Le Monde live.

Nah, but the line-up isn't why I am going. It is the magic. Man, its beautiful, the atmosphere, the people. Less punters at smaller festivals, more love.

Best festival I have been at, PERIOD. It is genuinely like being in another world. LOL

It's up in the air: Edward Sharpe or Rocklahoma to see the Darkness perform.

Decided that in addition to going to see Opeth, Mastodon, and Ghost, I will go see Gwar and Explosions in the Sky in April. Gwar come every year, but for whatever reason I was unable to go in 2010 and 2011, so I'm making up for those absences this year, and as far as EITS... well there's not much else coming to town and tickets are cheap.

Nice. Who's closing for your OMG date?

Also, didn't Gwar lose their guitarist earlier this year?
