The Stranglers are doing a short US tour in June (Detroit, NYC, Boston, Philly, Chicago and Long Beach.)
Haven't seen them in 20 some odd years and they rarely tour in the states any more, so it'll be a must-see for me.

I saw Gojira last week and they were immense (as expected) even though the sound wasn't all that, however Ghost were just embarrassing. Just because they wear hoods over their heads and put on a half decent stage show doesn't detract from the fact that the generic Heavy Metal they play has been heard a thousand times before and played far better too in the past.

Well, Styx was announced as one of the free concerts for my town's summer motion, so I will probably be checking that cheese out. They've still got at least 3 bands to announce, too. One will definitely be a mainstream country act, so I'll not be checking that out, most likely.

I also hate even to say this, but my little sister is the biggest "Directioner" in the world, and her birthday is May 14th. One Direction is in concert in Columbus in June. Getting her tickets seems like something I will probably do, and I will almost certainly be forced to go to said concert.

^^

I thought Vanilla Fudge split up actually. Now I see they actually did announce a 'farewell' tour but didn't go through with it. Also, that website is the worst website in the history of websites!

Jealous. I missed them when they came through the UK recently. They didnt come to my neck of the woods but I completely missed the announcement of their dates anyway, and it had already sold out by the time I was aware of it.

I'm going to see Steve Reich at the Los Angeles Museum of Modern Art in May. Pretty damned excited for this one.

Just got tickets to see Vanilla Fudge in a small restaurant/club setting.
3 of the original 4 members ( Mark Stein, Vince Martell, and Carmine Appice) with Pete Bremy on bass for Tim Bogert who has retired from touring.
Should be interesting!

Hahaha, what the hell, seriously.

I've been so into them lately. Weird to even see that they're still around.
