Belle and Sebastian tonight, because they're a band I like that my parents also like. I would be seeing Gilberto Gil on Sunday, but I'm visiting relatives for Passover.

They've been doing a lot of the new album on this tour so far, unfortunately.

I'm seeing Shabazz Palaces tonight. It's my first rap concert and I know maybe two songs by them. Should be an interesting evening. I saw Cherry Glazerr last night with a great doomy/psychedelic/post-punk band called Sunflower Bean and another band that had more of a toughened Beach Boys vibe that I can't remember the name of. Great ****ing show, just felt pretty dreggish showing up obviously drunk and high off my ass at what I didn't know was an all-ages show. I think some girl tried to pick-pocket me, or did, and then someone got my **** back for me. Never had that happen before.

Seeing Belle & Sebastian again playing with an Orchestra, my mate won free tickets too so it's especially sweet. Seeing Swans the next day. Quite the juxtaposition. Two of my favourite bands and the perfect way to celebrate my exams ending.
