the past weekend I went to a show Friday night and Saturday night at La Casa del Artista.

First night was a pretty special experimental group with a keyboardist who also rapped, a chick who played the violin and also tap danced, and another chick who hula hooped.

Some sceney band playing metalcore was there. The bass player was using a Pete Wentz bass. it was disappointing.

Both nights a local emo band (Hats, Off Gentlemen) played, which is why I went.
There were more bands for each night but thats what stood out.
It was amazing pretty much.

I'm seeing Protest The Hero tonight, granted, they're playing with Haste The Day and It Dies Today, so I'll probably skip those two sets.

Barry Manilow - "An Evening of Music and Passion"

You know you all have a soft spot for Mr. Manilow!

I'm going to his show at Continental Arena in Jersey, for about $10. How can I beat that?

check out the rest of the tour dates here: An Evening of Music and Passion
