i wasn't really considering nickelback at all. who cares about the fairness of this thread? it's here to start conversations. lately around these parts, it seems like i hear much more anti than pro concerning them. theres a bunch of anti-hipster hipsters.

Ok fine, you don't have to. But is it really fun to just vote on an album for the sake of it? Sounds really lame to me and I don't think it takes THAT much effort to give an album (or two) a listen. What's so hard about abstaining from voting, even if you can? No one's depending on your vote. Consider yourself disposable

Well I'd wager quite a few people have stuff to do and can't simply download two albums and blow 2 hours listening to records. Why are you so rabid to exclude the great majority of the forum.

Did you actually listen to the Nickleback album? If you haven't, will you?

The poll's normally open for a couple days, plenty of time to give both albums a chance. I personally think it's stupid to conduct an album wars over which band has the lesser douchebag of members (as some have voted on). And I'm pretty sure that most people do listen to both albums before they vote (or at least enough of the album to get a sense for whatever they like it or not).

I haven't listened to the Nickelback album? Have I voted? No.
