tango mango? jerk.

can for me. they are among my favorite bands. no other krautrock group comes close. paperhouse is among my favorite songs. and i really need to hear aumgn on shrooms.

This is a good battle. I love both of these albums, but Neu! is my favorite kraut rock band and that album has Negativland. So Neu! for me.

Its largely a 70`s phenomenon.......maybe some of the groups still exist today. As far as I know, it still exists in its influence on other genres such as post-punk, electronica and modern prog acts.

I think by the time we got to the 80`s, it was thrash and power metal bands that were coming out of Germany.

I'm listening to this song and I'm not sure how its so wildly different than much of what was made in England and America at the time.

So Kraut Rock = classic rock in German?
