Who said I hadn't heard the album? I've heard 3 Gensis albums, well... I've tired to listen to three Genesis albums. But I don't enjoy being bored to tears so I turned them off halfway through. And my main reason for voting is Phil Collins is a c*nt and the band are sh*t.

I don't like Yes, but I don't dislike them. So they get my vote.

It depends on how similar it is.

In the case of Genesis, they've gone through one of the most drastic evolutions in style of any band in rock history.

Just because you don't like Phil's solo material is a pretty retarded reason to write off an era of the band's history that sounds NOTHING like that stuff and an era where Phil wasn't even the frontman of the f*cking band.

Which albums were they? And that is an important question because if it was something like Invisible Touch and We Can't Dance that is generally regarded as their weakest material and isn't definitive of the band's work at all, then I can't take you very seriously if you're gonna write off the whole band without even trying to give the music people actually give a f*ck about a chance.

I've heard Selling England by the Pound, it bored my to tears. I got half way through track 3 and decided it was sh*t, I don't know if Collins was in the band then. But he's a c*nt and that album is crap.

So Yes get my vote.

If you've not heard Selling England by the Pound, don't bother. I'll never get them 17 minutes from the first 2 and a a bit tracks back.

Very rich coming from the massive proggy fan, but yeah my vote is based on listening to a sh*t pretentious band and hating it. Though 'Yes' might be just as bad, but for now they can have my vote.

I voted against Genesis because I actually listened to both f*cking albums and I just happen to prefer the Yes one.

When people pit an album I've heard against one I haven't I will refrain until I've heard the other album and usually I'll soulseek it or mediafire it whichever, it's not hard to quickly download the album in question and at least give it a listen before passing judgement. Surely you have 50 minutes of your time to spare.
