I could never get into The White Stripes other than a few songs.

No contest for me. Elephant is hardly my fave WS album, whilst that QOTSA one is.

Elephant was a fantastic album when it came out with its mixture of stonking blues and acoustic folk, but as time has gone by I actually find it far less interesting. Songs For The Death along with Rated R are still two fantastic albums that I can listen to at any time, so it has to be QOTSA.

One of the best albums of the 00s versus one of the most overrated? Songs for the Deaf is the easy winner for me.

I love both albums so this is a tough call. I rate Rated R slightly higher than Songs for the Deaf, while Elephant is more in the middle for me with The White Stripes. I'm a bigger Stripes fan, but QOTSA it is.

I guess I'm gonna pile onto this slaughter. I thought this would be a little bit closer, but it's all about the Queens. Elephant is a very good album, but Songs for the Deaf, is in a class of all time greats that don't get nearly enough attention or praise.

I've only listened to half the album, but I can already tell. Queens is simply mind blowing so far... the White Stripes are good, but nothing revolutionary. Queens takes the point.
