Those are some of the labels my favourite bands are on, but I don't really pay much attention to them anymore unless I'm looking at their roster and who has new stuff coming out. Also I just read that the long-awaited second Control Denied album may be out in December, which is such a perfect way to end a year of great metal albums
Music For Nations was a U.K label that really pushed Metal in the 80's and early 90's but they are no longer sadly. They had an offshoot Under One Flag that released the more cult stuff too. I am pretty sure MFN released the first 3 Metallica albums before they signed to a major and everything was re-released.

I found them when I bought Judgment (1998) by Anathema. They had some really great artists signed at least for the UK distribution.

Megaforce was another great label run by the mighty Jon Zazula and his wife that was the American equivalent.

You forgot Metal Blade too

First time I've heard Kno rapping since 2003's Southernunderground by CunninLynguists and it is a welcome change. Definitely one of the best hip hop albums of this year.
FFFFFUUUUUU- I can't believe I forgot about this release.

I've been meaning to get this forever. My only worry is that it would be too avant-garde for me.
