I just got this strange Serge Gainsbourg compilation, it is mostly instrumental. AMAZING! This man was on another level.

With a name and cover like that you wouldn't expect this to be a rare Italo Disco effort from the late 70's which is surprisingly very good and has influenced Aphex Twin amongst others.

Saying it's a Balearic influenced chill out Electronic album makes it sound very unappealing but this is really good stuff. Like The Durutti Column without the vocals and added beats. Very subtle and quite sexy:

It was generally agreed that Acid House started in Chicago circa '88 and then this pops along dating to '82 and changed the history books. A curio to say the least.

Made a thread but maybe not anyone's cup of tea really. Shame as Prog heads, soundtrack fans and Electronica lovers would dig this. 70's Tangerine Dream too.

Anybody who's seen Snatch knows Golden Brown, but as it turns out, The Stranglers have loads of other gems. Good find.

I remember adding this to my wishlist quite a while ago, I don't remember what prompted me to do so. Maybe I'll get it sooner than later.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

It's just being released to day, actually.

If you're an Electric Wizard fan already, I'd definitely suggest getting it. It's more of the same sort of, but if you're a fan of theirs already that shouldn't be a problem. If you're not, get Dopethrone or Come My Fanatics... first and see if you'd enjoy hearing it, IMO.
