I love Bossanova too. It was my first Pixies album and it remained my favorite along with Surfers Rosa. I love it way more than Doolittle, that's for sure.

I have Bloweyelashwish but i don't really know what to make of it. It sounds like one of those albums you either really have to be in the mood for or be completely whacked out of your head. It'll probably click with me eventually.

I'm definitely downloading those next, or whenever i get the chance. A lot of people seem to prefer them.

You didn't. It's I who should issue an apology. I just get hyper-sensitive when anybody trashes the Pixies for any reason (which you did not)

Way more? I like you. I love Doolittle but I love Bossanova.

Bossanova is my first Pixies album, actually, and it was a worthwhile experience. This bodes well.

I'm weird. I love Doolittle, really like Surfer Rosa, and can hardly make it through more than a few songs of their last two releases...

Bossanova = Surfer Rosa > Doolittle > Trompe Le Monde.

Blut Aus Nord - The Work Which Transforms God (2003)

Creepy atmospheric black metal, very creepy like... I'm happy it's daylight and I'm not listening to it through headphones creepy.

Ved Buens Ende - Written In Waters (1995)

An older avant-garde metal album that went unnoticed by me, but apparently the band folded soon after it was released. It's gotten some pretty high reviews so I figured what the hoo ha.

Year of No Light - Ausserwelt (2010)

Meh, it was pretty much like a slightly heavier version of Pelican and Russian Circles in the instrumental department, but even after listening to it through headphones I cannot really recall any moments in clarity. I'm not sure if there were even vocals on this album that's how boring it was. It might get one more listen from me, but methinks it'll see the recycling bin soon.

Agalloch-Marrow Of The Spirit
If this truly is as good as people say, 2010 just may be the best year in music ever.

Medeski, Martin and Wood-Combustication
An album from SATCHMO's thread that I didn't have, so thought it warranted a download.

Soulive-Get Down
As above. SATCHMO's review made it sound interesting.
