If you gave me a rec and I didn't thank you yet, thanks!

Been meaning to get this for years, finally got around to it and it's just as crap as I expected.

I love it.

Pombagira—Black Axis Abraxas
There are only two tracks on this album, one is half an hour long and the other is 20 minutes. Both are pretty good. Stylistically, this album is very, very similar to Dopesmoker-era Sleep with the only real difference being that these guys have just a little bit more of a psychedelic edge than Sleep does. Nothing groundbreaking here obviously, but nevertheless a worthwhile album.

Those sort of albums are fantastic it's bloody easy to get lost 15 minutes in and find yourself going has it been that long already?

Heh. Yeah, that's exactly what I love about this kind of stuff.

Another good one in that same vein that I got a hold of recently is Shepherd/Blood by Mühr. Have you heard it?

I have not sir, though I'll be checking both the above out. I've been away from music for a wee while lately and theres a whole lot of gigs I'm going to soon that don't often come our way and it's reinvigorated me taste for the stuff.

Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys - My Chemical Romance
Very, very different from their older stuff, but I like it. I bought mine for about $15
which was a little high for an album that lasted less than an hour. Nevertheless it was
still a great album and I would recommend it to any punk-rock fan.

p.s. You can download the album for about $13 on iTunes, and it sells for about $11 at Wal-Mart (Wal-Mart's edition is censored)
