They're both very good albums. Priest=Aura is kind a stylistic midpoint between them so you'll probably find Starfish to be a bit more on the poppy side and Sometime Anywhere to be a bit more on the experimental side.

Yeah, it's a great song. And very well utilized in that movie.

Glad you're liking The Church Zero

Starfish is my favourite of their middle period stuff, followed by Heyday. If you end up digging Starfish and Sometime Anywhere then I would recommend the Hindsight compilation which compiles their early, new-wave singles/b-sides. Some of their best work in my opinion. Bloody great band now I think about it.

Anyway . . .

Boards Of Canada
- Geogaddi

Listening habits can be a funny thing. I've had Music has A Right To Children for a while now, and on first listen it bored me and I dismissed it as overrated arty electro noise. Fast forward two years and I find that last years Oneohtrix Point Never album is growing on me. Feeling inspired I search for somthing similar in my collection and come across Music has A Right. Thankfully my ears have opened just that extra bit more, and I found myself totally captivated by it.

So yeah, in short I'm looking foreword to Geogaddi

Also

Blectum From Blechdom - The Messy Jesse Fiesta (2000)

Fun female IDM duo who I've heard good things about.

I really liked their half of the split with By Surprise and now they have a full length LP, I'm excited.

I have that and love the artwork. However I find it a bit too "messy", personally. There are some interesting things going on but I can't seem to enjoy listening to it. Too abstract and not melodic enough, I guess. The only other associated album I've heard is Blevin Blectum's Gular Flutter and I found it much more listenable.

Oh and Geogaddi is fantastic.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

^^^

I will get onto that ASAP. It's been on my HD for a while but waiting to find the right mood.

Bought:

Not their best but a couple of decent tunes.
D/L:

For all the Ratt haters . Not as good as Invasion Of Your Privacy though.

I quite like the sleaziness of Queen Adreena and she made a great album with Hector Zazou a year or two back called Corps Electriques which is a sort of chilled Jazz tinged Electronic album but the sort of French chic late night in the city type of Jazz. In fact I love this album:

That song was okay but I still prefer her screaming maniacally. Thanks though, I may check out the album.

I am quite the fan of her low key sultry whisperings but that's just me
