The new album by dutch Stoner rock band Sungrazer

The Megaphonic Thrift - Decay Decoy
Recommended to me by downwardspiral. I had to check a few times to make sure this wasn't a new Sonic Youth album such are the similarities here. Everything from the twin guitar mayhem, to the vocal style, to some of the song titles seem to scream Sonic Youth, not that it's a bad thing as i love Sonic Youth. On it's own terms however this is a very solid and well-executed album with some excellent guitar playing and arrangements, and could even give some SY albums a run for it's money. Enjoyable stuff.

I'm liking the sound of the samples.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I quickly downloaded the albums that I showed here and put them on my phone as I (unexpectedly) had to go and see my ex-girlfriend.
I wanted to listen to my new LP's and I didn't want to carry them there with the risk of damaging the sleeves, so I solved it this way.
Now playing

My phone is hooked up to her stereo right now .
