It's alright, nothing worth the hype but it's a solid folk album.

Well, I downloaded this because the album cover is so awesome...

and it ended up being pretty good, despite the trace amounts of dubstep. So then I downloaded one of their full-length dubstep-less releases which is... really good.

Chilltastic downtempo EDM that samples a lot and sometimes sounds like instrumental hip hop... fun

Tindersticks - The Something Rain (2012)

Definitely a headphones album, but an album I feel like I will be revisiting many times this year. The opening song "Chocolate" feels a lot like the Velvet Underground song "The Gift" in that it's a spoken word story told over repetitive music. Other than that it's a very nice little art rock album that has a sense of... sophistication to it. That description is really for lack of a better word, but it's just something you need to hear to really get. Definitely recommended.

Nice selection, but this collaboration is sooo good. It's almost at the same tier as Coltrane's Ascension.
