I love Nowhere To Run and Try A Little Tenderness from the soundtrack. Whatever happened to Andrew Strong the vocalist?

I loved that movie.

The only shame is every single shitty bar band I have ever seen insists on singing the soundtrack

That's what success breeds unfortunately. The Commitments is a kick arse film that still holds up very well.

I don't know, but his voice is out of this world. I like "Try a Little Tenderness" too, as well as "Dark End of the Street".

The Official Andrew Strong Website

His greatest hits album is available from no good record shops right now.

I know this is a little off topic, and you guys might not appreciate it, but damn, he actually looks pretty hot in that first picture on his website. I always remembered him looking a little gimpy for some reason.
