The Joy Formidable - Wolf's Law (2013)

I had forgotten that this album was slated with a January release. I enjoyed their debut LP and their two EP's so I'm pretty excited for this.

My Bloody Valentine - M B V (2013)

It sounded a lot like Loveless part II to me, which isn't a bad thing and it definitely beats the crap out of a lot of the shoegaze stuff that's been coming out over the last few years, but I have to say I'm a little underwhelmed.

Definitely listening to it again later, but for now...

I really want to catch them on their reunion tour.

I felt like listening to something pink.
Not as good as Boots or How Does That Grab You? but it has it's moments.

Wanna hear it just for that great album cover!

Imagine if Beck made a Soul/Funk album and actually cared about it (even though I like Midnite Vultures) and this is what you get. Brilliant voice backed by freaky Electronic beats produced by himself.

That would be the "new" Foo Fighters record. I know i am far behind but I do like it a lot although it is pretty old.

Default The White Stripes! Elephant

I am in the middle of this project where I am trying to make my way through all the rolling stones 500 greatest albums of all time and the last one I listened to was "Elephant" by the White Stripes. I haven't written on that one yet, because I still haven't formed all my thoughts on it. I felt like it had multiple genres in one. What do you think about that album?

this will never beat If You're Feeling Sinister, but it's a solid debut album from a band that'll get better.
