Sweet (not that it really matters, but always good to have an interest in newer releases).

The guy who made the album is also the lead singer in Those Poor Bastards if you're familiar with them.

I don't know the music but it's a really nice cover.

The new Justin Timberlake album is getting GKMC/MBDTF level hype right now. Gonna download it later.

Atoms for Peace - Judge Jury and Executioner / S.A.D. 12" (2013)
My local record shop won the lottery to sell the only 100 copies of a hand screen-printed edition of this 12". I picked one up.

Ramona Falls - Intuit (2009)
I like the instrumentation and production more than I like the vocals. Of the two original vocalist in Menomena, I prefer the other guy.

Menomena - I Am the Fun Blame Monster (2003)
I've been a casual fan since Friend and Foe in 2007, and they've taken a while to grow on me since. Each album has contained some great songs but was never great as a whole. I've gotten to like the latest one Moms quite a bit, so I thought I'd finally check out this highly rated one. I like it mostly, probably as much as the two that followed. I didn't get the B-sides though.

Blood on the Wall - Blood on the Wall (2004)
Apparently quite Pixies and Sonic Youth-influenced, but I didn't think it was too derivative on first spin. Pretty rough production on their debut, I'll probably check out the others soon.

Clinic - Free Reign (2012)
Digging this one, playing it for the second time in a row since it felt short (it's 40 minutes). I haven't heard the two preceding albums, but I have the first four. I still need to give more time to Winchester Cathedral and Visitations, I never got familiar with them like I did Internal Wrangler and Walking With Thee. Free Reign has a good sound, and doesn't really give me anxiety like their sound sometimes can.

Well that's uncanny, I got hold of Free Range 2 earlier this week.
And i've not heard anything they've done since Winchester Cathedral either.
