Last bought "Fuse" Keith Urban. I personally think it is his best album to date.

Cloudkicker - Subsumed (2013)

There's no artwork available at a reasonable size so you'll just have to use your imagination. If you're unfamiliar with this artists' previous works it's basically lengthy instrumental tracks wavering between melodic and heavy. Kind of straddling the line between rock and metal but I think it's enjoyable enough for both camps. Good background music if nothing else.

Touché Amoré - Is Survived By

It leaked! I can't wait to give it a listen, especially since Parting The Sea Between Brightness and Me was one of my favorite albums of 2011.

I built a Spotify playlist of all the GaragePunk Hideouts comps. It's about 200 songs, and I play it on shuffle as a kind of radio when I am not listening to other albums.

It's fantastic.

miRthkon delivers once again. This album is very jumpy, comical, and sounds like an overall mess that accidentally sounded good. Highly recommended for fans of Frank Zappa, Doctor Nerve, Panzerballet, etc. I wouldn't say that this has made my list for 2013 (yet, I expect for it to grow on me a bit).
Thanks for letting me know this exists

God Is An Astronaut - Origins

I really liked the direction they went with this album. It seems a lot heavier and more powerful. People have said it's a mixture of their old sound but made more present, which I guess in some cases is the truth. Still, definitely one I was happy with.

Dream Theater - Dream Theater

It leaked yesterday and a good friend of mine found me a copy. Gave it a listen and HOLY COW. When they say they are going to deliver a good album, they mean it and then some. This album was one of the highly anticipated albums of the year for me, and they sure did pack a punch. It starts off with a stellar sounding intro, but once it gets into it, all you can really do is sit back, kick your feet up, and enjoy it. This album is the second with their new drummer Mike Mangini, and at first he proved to be pretty damn good, but now it seems to be that the whole band shows such good chemistry with each other. This album is one of the best if not the best Dream Theater album released to date, and I hold the opinion that Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence is their best release. This one has really proven what this band can really do. Very very pleased, and am very excited to give it another listen as soon as possible.
