I like it a lot but it's years since I last heard it.

It's cool that that release has a show on it. I saw him doing an acoustic set live twice in the mid 90s and he played most of the album both times. Those were two of my favorite concerts experiences ever.

What the hell have all you prog fans been doing for the last 10 years here?
Apparently not one of you has ever mentioned this album before in the history of the forum. I don't know why because it's far better than most of the crap you've been recommending all these years.
It also has name people involved (e.g. People from Colosseum & John Wetton).
It's an amazing mix of Prog, Psych, Funk, Proto Metal and rocks like a bastard with a ton of horns for good measure.

And you'd rather tell us to listen to Genesis or Yes?

F*ck you musicbanter prog fans.

:)

You have recommended and I trust you (dunno why): watch the "Recommended by..." thread in the next few days....

Also: is that album in your sig real? If so, please review...

I'm a fan of his solo stuff but I liked him in Sugar most, that was actually my introduction to him.

Workbook was my intro to him but I love Sugar also, especially Copper Blue.

I heard Copper Blue before I ever heard Husker Du. At first I didn't love it but it really grew on me. Definitely will listen to Workbook.

Be forewarned, Workbook is much more low key than any Sugar or Husker Du albums.

That's fine. Thanks for the warning though.

I love all Husker Du albums but for some reason I've never had the same love for Sugar's Copper Blue. It's still a good album though.

Copper Blue loves you anyway.
