My dad loved this one, but I wasn't really feeling it. In fact I'd much rather listen to Heritage but maybe that was just because it was my first Opeth.

Just grabbed the new Ghostface for my bf as a last minute gift. I had already downloaded it for him but the files were all ****ed up and couldn't be burned into a disc, so I decided to just go straight to the source.

It blows the new Wu-Tang out of the ocean if you're curious.

well one listen in and I thought it was way better than her other albums. Not much of the second half of the album stuck to me, but that could just be a product of how I was listening rather than the actual songs. I dug it tho.

The National - Trouble Will Find Me

I think I'm about to go on an indie rock adventure again. Great stuff.

Ausmuteants - Amusements (2013)
I discovered this earlier in the year, thinking it was a 2014 release, but the band is Australian and it actually came out there in November 2013. Punk rock/synth punk that at times reminds me of Parquet Courts - but with synths. Although the synths aren't always around.

The People's Temple - Musical Garden (2014)
Second one I've heard from this band. I've heard quite a few of these songs as it's in my giant wishlist shuffle. Quite good garage/psychedelic rock. From my recollection of the first one I heard, this one is more raw garage whereas the other seemed more psychedelic. Good replay value here.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Anais Mitchell & Jefferson Hamer - Child Ballads (2013)

Got the physical CD for Christmas. So beautifully packaged. The sleeve is a seven-part mural of inked drawings of scenes from the seven selected folk ballads from the Child catalogue. I cannot overemphasize how good this is!
