I once saw a group on last.fm that read, "I'm so indie I sh*t pitchforks."

Just got back from a long day in Tokyo, and this came up...

David Bowie - Blackstar

I listened to this album the day it released, sitting on my sofa with my woman drinking beer and getting (my mind) blown.

Bob Dylan - Blonde on Blonde

My go-to drinking album.

Bon Iver - Blood Bank

Everything Justin Vernon touches is gold.

Wooden Wand - Blood Oaths of the New Blues

I rate it. Stays in rotation.

Bob Dylan - Blood on the Tracks

Released the same year my mom released me.

Jay Reatard - Blood Visions

Ohdeargodno. This is no way for me to start my Sunday.

Blood, Sweat & Tears - Blood, Sweat & Tears

This, however, is.

New Radiohead albums get me in touch with all things Yorke.

Sneaker Pimps - Bloodsport

Stays in rotation. Cool.

Beach House - Bloom

I love this duo. Their sounds always lift my spirits.

iamamiwhoami - Blue

This isn't merely an audio album. It's got videos for each track, and they all go together in a full audiovisual album:

Operators - Blue Wave

One of them newfangled releases. Lots of energy.

John Mayall - Bluesbreakers with Eric Clapton

Never gets old.

Bon Iver - Bon Iver, Bon Iver

Must be cold up there in Wisconsin.

Son Lux - Bones

I haven't heard an album of his I disliked.

The Chemical Brothers - Born in the Echoes

My first encounter with The Chemical Brothers' music. I like it a lot! Getting more.

Alabama Shakes - Boys & Girls

First encounter with this band. Great, soulful, rockin' tunes.

Supertramp - Breakfast in America

An old favorite. Love "The Logical Song" and "Goodbye Stranger".

The Black Eyed Peas - Bridging the Gap

Another old favorite, back when BEP made music I like.

Kathryn Calder - Bright and Vivid

Keep in rotation.

Sam Amidon - Bright Sunny South

Keep in rotation.

Radiohead - A Moon Shaped Pool

Oh very yes.

Mates of State - Bring It Back

Keep in rotation.

Fatima Al Qadiri - Brute

**** the police.

Buffalo Springfield - Buffalo Springfield Again

Keep in rotation.

Red Red Meat - Bunny Gets Paid

This album has grown on me.

The Frames - Burn the Maps

One of my favorite bands. Love them so much.

Tomita Isao - The Planets

Don't want to trample on Mr. Tomita's ashes, but this suuuuuucks.

ANOHNI - HOPELESSNESS

Since I fled America during the Bush administration, I don't really feel her hopelessness.

Keane - Hopes and Fears

An old favorite. Love this album. Good memories associated with it.

Ben Harper - Burn to Shine

Good ol' Todd introduced me to Ben Harper back in '99.

Erykah Badu - But You Caint Use My Phone

Better than I expected! Keep in rotation.

On to "C".

Disclosure - Caracal

Dancey.

Sufjan Stevens - Carrie & Lowell

One of my favorite artists.

Bright Eyes - Cassadaga

To me, Bright Eyes is looking out the ceiling-to-floor one-way window in the suite of the Prince Hotel, looking out over the city nightscape of Tokyo, tripping on a threshold level of LSD with my three best friends.

Pretty sure you already know it, but in case you don't:
Check out the four volumes of "Golden Years Of The Soviet New Jazz".

A Moon Shaped Pool by Radiohead

yeah ok giving in to the zeitgeist early here. not really expecting much tbh but open to being pleasantly surprised.
