The Midnight - Endless Summer (2016)

An 80's smorgasborg with a few EDM touches here and there. Phenomenal album on every front - production, vocals, the sexy saxophone, the synths....just pure perfection.

Oh ****, it be Anteater! Haven't seen you around in forever.

It grew on me and I listened to it days after. I think it's great, and quite frankly I'm not even a huge bright eyes fan.

Has a very strong DFA/LCD Soundsystem influence going on. Some avante garde/experimental/Mediterranean electro that might not appeal to all. And by all I mean everyone that isn't a member of MB.

debut full length from the self proclaimed "kings of noise rock"....prov es them to be just that....seriously this has everything you would want from a 90s era AmRep band....with just enough freshness to not make it seem like some typical regurgitation....look forward to seeing these guys again soon

That really confused me because I didn't know that their other two albums were considered EPs. Will definitely listen soon.
