Ordered 5 CDs online. A bit expensive this time. But I'm gonna allow it as an exception.

Alela Diane - To Be Still

I've got a bad habit of going all in when I find an artist that I really feel positive about. It's the third album of her's I'm getting inside a short time frame.

Beth Orton - Sugaring Season

Same situation here, really. I've heard a track from this album that I really, really liked as well.

Judie Tzuke - The Cat Is Out

This ****ing CD has been really evasive! I finally bumped into an offer for a not-totally-bonkers price, so I hope it's in pretty good condition. I think it's the last of all Judie's 70's and 80's albums that I'm missing, so that's awesome.

Flavia Coelho - Bossa Muffin

Flavia Coelho - Mundo Meu

These two have been hard to get too, but now they're both decently priced and fairly easily available. I'm guessing they were reprinted recently. I loved her 2016 album, so I'm looking forward to hearing her short back catalogue.

I'm so excited right now. It's ridiculous, but I am. I received a holy grail of mine in the mail today.

Judie Tzuke - The Cat is Out

It's been really hard to find this CD. I had kind of resigned to the fact that I'd probably never find it. Some private seller in Britain suddenly turned out to have a copy and I jumped on it a week ago. Now I'm holding it in my hands! A stupid piece of useless plastic, since I can just listen to it on Spotify, but I'm excited all the same. Screw being rational! I just love music. Love is irrational.

Now here's where it gets even more exciting (in a sort of geeky, bordering on being autistic sort of way). The above cover turns out not to be the only cover art for this album. The one I got in the mail has a much cooler looking cover that I've never seen before! I got so excited about it that I scanned it in high resolution, since only crummy, tiny 200x200 thumbnails seem to exist online. And that's a shame.

Here's my gift to the Judie Tzuke fans of the world:

I'm listening to the CD right now. It's great! Also kinda funny that the regular cover above is from a Trollheart thread. I did an image search on Google to find a proper size and it linked me to this page: https://www.musicbanter.com/members-...ournal-10.html

So far, I'm really liking this track in particular:
