Two vinyl purchases: Philip Cohran's African Skies in memoriam Sun Ra (1993) - puts a catch in my throat every time, very moving. And the incredible On The Beach (1968) - jazz theater at its finest and a frankiphone into the bargain.







Finally, Full Circle by Holger Czukay, Jah Wobble and Jaki Liebezeit. Thanks as always for the goosebumps, Wobbles.

So I've been liking Twin Shadow's newest album Caer lately. IMO he makes amazing pop music, and his voice is smooth and clear and just lovely. But that album got me thinking about his earlier albums and how much I used to love this song:
