I loved Mount Eerie so I figured this must be my next stop. Very excited to give this one a listen. |

Sour Mash - Beasts of Bourbon Has anyone else heard of these guys? http://www.sickthingsuk.co.uk/albums...es/a-litd1.jpg Love it to Death - Alice Cooper |

The Folk Implosion - Take A Look Inside http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...eSurprised.jpg The Folk Implosion - Dare To Be Surprised I have high hopes.. we'll see. |

http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/5833/alonet.jpg Solitude Aeturnus - Alone A lot like Candlemass (same vocalist (Robert Lowe)). 'Scent of Death' and 'Is There' are great songs. Album cover is eerily good... |

Those were some of my favorite albums at one point. Take A Look Inside.. may be my favorite piece of music that came out of the lo-fi indie phase of the 90s Dare To Be Surprised is much more polished but doesn't suffer much for it. I just got The Wild Hunt by The Tallest Man on Earth http://consequenceofsound.net/wp-con...hewildhunt.jpg So far it's not grabbing me like Shallow Grave but I can see how it's a slightly more 'mature' effort or something. Not sure about it yet |

I really have only listened to the new Tallest man album once abd I certainly like it - but I crave the wildness of Shallow Grave. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...nter/EGG03.png |

I listened to it about 5 times, then didn't touch it for months.. then I just decided to listen and it just appealed to me. I listened to Wild Hunt before Shallow Grave.. I have Shallow Grave but I haven't really listened to it much. But the Wild Hunt is great, stick with it. :thumb: |

Shalabi Effect - Pink Abyss ... Meh The Atomica Project - Metropolitan ... Meh Flying Lotus - Cosmogramma ... Pretty g, and one song had Thom Yorke, so you know I was digging it |

Jesu - Self Titled: I thought Conqueror was pretty cool so I thought I would go to this next. Gonna hopefully listen to it tonight. |

Pulled Apart By Horses - Pulled Apart By Horses Should be a half decent listen. Anyone heard of this band? They're from Leeds, UK.. This is their debut album. Are they any good are complete shit? |

Listened to them on Spotify a while back, figured they deserved a full download. Great stuff. |

Peter Gabriel - Scratch My Back It's basically a compilation of covers. I'm just listening to it now, but I am in LOVE with his cover of 'My Body Is A Cage' by Arcade Fire. Can't wait to listen to the rest. |

Obituary - Frozen In Time Not a bad album, but not a great one either. |

Bought this recently on Vinyl From Record Shop on Hilton Street Manchester.
A Good Album with a distinctive sound of The Beat or English Beat if you in USA. Whappen as an album is nowhere near as good as The Beat's Debut album "I just Can't Stop it". http://www.music-lyrics-chord.com/co...at_Whappen.jpg |
I have been listening to this album nonstop lately. I can't believe it never made an impression on me before, in the past......

An okay album but not as good as I was hoping. The story behind it is pretty cool though: Quote:

The Jesus & Mary Chain - Darklands I love their debut, so I thought I may as well get their second album. |
Gave it a short listen. Seemed rather disappointing. |

You'll definitely want to get their second album Paegan Terrorism Tactics. http://www.swedrock.se/img/covers/Do...ernational.jpg Dødheimsgard - 666 International This is a Last.fm recommendation and nothing more, I suppose I'll find out if it's a good recommendation or not. |

I think both of those JAMC albums are 5 stars, sadly they never fulfilled their potential.

Laughing Clowns - Red Flame
http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_sXDqFPQYAT...ns%2Bfront.jpg Fiery jazz-influenced post-punk from the ex-guitarist and founding member of the Saints? Yes please! |
Joie de Vivre- The North End
http://images.emusic.com/music/image...75/300x300.jpg Very 90's influenced emo. |
Red Fang - Red Fang
