Seriously much better stuff of the same vein. I don't understand why this album gets so much hype.

I agree, but it's definitely not a bad album. Good for a quick fix of whine.

Lol i see where your coming from. I guess Im just partial to his crooning. If you haven't maybe you should check out there other albums. This is certainly not there best.

I'll check out their 1st album, if only because you recommended it.

Legendary harmonica prodigy King Biscuit Boy performs with the Ronnie Hawkins band shortly before he keels over dead from alcohol poisioning. King Biscuit Boy wrote the following great blues lyrics to a little ditty called You Done Tore Your Playhouse Down:
Quote:
I asked you to take out the garbage can and you took you the garbage man
Last time I saw you, your teeth were out and your wig was on fire and
You were stumbling down Highway 49 with a bottle of gin in your hand

Ray Condo and the Hardrock Goners are beyond belief. I don't know anything about them. I just stumbled across their version of St. James Infirmary and was hooked. I'm not even sure if Ray Condo is some guy from the Fifties or a contemporary music dude.

These guys are incredible insturmentalists and I'm not smirking when I say that.

( Album cover: Sixties sex bomb Soledad Miranda as vampiric Princess Nadine Korody. Good god! She's hot.)

Vampyros Lesbos Sexadelic Dance Party is rock-orchestral music composed by the German duo of Manfred Hübler and Siegfried Schwab, this album is the soundtrack to an obscure Jesus deFranco softcore horror/porn movie from 1969, and the music would probably give even Austin Powers nightmares. One track is built on a shameless ripoff of the "Satisfaction" guitar riff; another features yowling, yelping, wordless vocals to unintentionally hilarious effect.Tasteless fuzz guitar, big echoey horn parts, terribly played sitar, a strange, cheesy organ — this is every '60s-era musical cliché come to life. In other words: Vampyros Lesbos is the greatest album ever.

Those look like seriously interesting albums. You don't have a link for an upload perchance?

Vampyros Lesbos looks fairly nice; reminds me of the Vampires of Dartmoore for some reason.

Anywayz, got this last night--
