Loved it!

Sigur Ros - Rimur

Amazing, I don't know how I missed this one. For those of you who have seen Heima, this is an album with the old dude that sings with the band in the movie. Very cool sound to it, the old dude sings in old Viking chants. Completely ethereal sound to his voice.

I also got the Aphex Twin discography at the request of a friend, so I'll be giving them a listen or six.

If you manage to get through Drukqs without skipping a track you should give these out a try:

Nurse With Wound - Chance Meeting on a Dissecting Table...
Boredoms - Vision Creation Newsun
Melt-Banana - Cell-Scape

Heh that's funny he's been yelling at me to listen to Drukqs all day, but I can't put down the Kraftwerk album (You know it's great when Will Forte's identical twin is on the cover). Thanks for the recommendations.

Herbie Hanc0ck - Head Hunters (Remastered)

Heard it, decided I wanted to own it. A cornerstone in jazz and jazz-fusion that holds weight even today. :D

Amon Düül II - Yeti

Lots of interesting stuff going on here; we have tribal folk, pseudo-industrial Krautrock improv. and tons of astral guitar licking. Phenomenal all the way through.

I love their album Feathers but this one is earlier so I was little trepidatious. not to worry- it's another storming album of stoner/Psychedelic Rock.

An early Archive album (who I am really into). However this wasn't all that great.A watered down Trip Hop album with a couple of half decent tracks.

This archive album on the other hand is stellar. Best described as a sorta Porcupine Tree - Guitars + emotion. The track 'Lights' is an 18 minute bliss fest.

I do really like Joni Mitchell and this live album features both Jaco Pastorius AND Pat Metheny! Brilliant lazy jazz tinged album.
