I don't know if anyone here's ever heard of Lemon Demon, but it's Neil Cicierega's neat geek-rock They Might Be Giants kinda thing. I just downloaded the newest album, View-Monster, and it was much more stylistically complex than the last albums, creepy at times, but all-around good. I give it an 8/10.

Pavement - Slanted & Enchanted, Luxe & Reluxe! 8.5 side walk squares outta 10

M.Ward - End of Amnesia, second time I have purchased this album. 8 headless people out of 10

Listening to tracks 1-4. 4, "In Church", sounds like church IMO, so good job on that. I'll update this when I am done.

Got a few last night...

Akimbo - Elephantine

Gallows - Orchestra of Wolves

Melvins - Stag

Pavement - Wowee Zowee

Definitely the worst Pavement album I've heard. Some decent songs but way too much silly filler. Probably would have enjoyed it a lot more as a teenager though, and maybe with repeat listens I'll appreciate it. Still, could have been a tight album with some fat trimmed.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Guerre Froide - S/T

Obscure coldwave post punk from France. Recorded in 1981, it is only a 12" but its pretty interesting Not really my thing. The group have some of their tracks from their other album on LastFM, worth checking out.
