As for that Metal Machine Music, Ive heard so much about it and never got round to buying it/hearing it yet. I heard it bears comparisons to Neil Young's Arc album. Noise is good.

I really really liked MMM 1 and 2, but 3 and 4 were way too much. I had to turn it off lol.

lol really? I think I could handle it man. Have you ever heard a guy called Merzbow? Its not even music lol... he calls himself a 'noise musician' and its basically just all this really intense static noise, most songs are like 20 mins long, Ive managed to sit down for 2 hours once listening to that and it didnt bother me.

With the more anti (or non) music sounding noise, I only like silly stuff like early Boredoms. At least they didn't take themselves super seriously and had some sort of musical elements such as riffs and what not. People like Merzbow and Masonna are deluded.

I will listen to anything and everything but I draw the line at Merzbow.

Wow, jackhammer I'm surprised. For me, anything and everything includes Merzbow and any other of his contemporaries, although I dont listen to it on a regular basis, I can still listen to it and it doesnt bother me. Also, I just bought Metal Machine Music.

Girlfriend gave me three albums today.
She's had them for a while, but never listens to them.
So I figured I'd check em out.

Sum 41 was actually one of my first favorite bands!
I dont spin this album anymore but I'll admit I still like "All to Blame".

I've always figured they'd be pretty lame, for some reason.
And then I heard their Greatest Hits, and knew and loved a few of the songs on there.
That's what I get, I supposed.

And, I agree about the John Legend. :)
