As for the Aesop album, Satchmo, who shared it with me recently informed me I'm missing some tracks and I have some extra tracks, so the track list is all ****ed up, I'm pretty sure. We'll figure it out.

yeah, after listening to ABR, here's my rundown of their stuff:

-this is pretty average metalcore, and they know it
-The only remarkable part of the band are the guitars, they're not amazing, but they're pretty good. i honestly think they're wasting time and talent on this band
-the vocalist has barely any range and is pretty boring after some time.
-drums/bass=almost non-existent

in other words, the band isn't really worth alot of your time

as for the Aesop Rock album, that kind of sucks for me cause it's already scrobbled, hahaha

As good as the last two?

simplephysics 07-30-2009 10:57 AM

No, but it's still awesome, seems a bit more genuine than Alopecia anyhow. Think Elephant Eyelash stripped down to bare bones.

Edit: How did you like Alopecia? Should be right up your alley.

FaSho 07-30-2009 11:01 AM

Sounds pretty good to me, and yeah alopecia is great as well, probably better than Elephant, but I probably need to listen to it a couple more times. The hip-hop elements really put everything together.

After their heroic comeback on Glastonbury I kind of got back into Blur and bought these on discount. I like "Modern Life..." better than "Parklife".

For the longest time, I like Modern Life better than Parklife, but now I find Parklife to be a more enjoyable. It stretches across more genres and has better pop numbers.

Meh, it's debatable.

I think Blur have 4 best albums - MLIR, Blur, 13 & Think Tank are all equally as good in my opinion.

Last album I downloaded was Humbug by Arctic Monkeys.
