It's one of the rare local singers of the underground scene, she was the opening-act in the Yann Tiersen concert I went to today. I was thinking of downloading her album from the Internet, as I already have the link, but hearing her today live I instantly changed my mind. It is rare to see someone around here who's worth the encouragement. The album can be best described as Folk/Indie rock, she composed all the songs which are sang in Armenian (as she's from Armenian origins and as she is singing in a country that only 5% of it would understand her). She's using her voice more as an instrument, it's like a mix between Sigur ros and Cranberries in ways.

it doesn't look like you got many albums so i'm not saying you're this bad, but..
some guy in my flat, whom i've only seen twice, ever, had the audacity to ask for my hard drive today. Bloody cheek! Anybody wanting to get their greasy mitts on my exterior can swivel; people are so used to being bottle-fed now they can't even be bothered to find what they like, gradually building their own music collections... they'd rather just appropriate yours. Where's the fun in that?

The album I downloaded most recently was Desert Lights by Something for Kate... kinda reclaiming it after it mysteriously went missing (the original disc)... Come to think of it, I really need to find Earth and Sun and Moon by Midnight Oil and do the same...

Despite my love of all things DOOM and Madlibs, I have yet to even hear a single song from this album. I fail :( That will all change soon though!

I purchased a 160g HDD off a mate of mine and got him to leave all his music on it but i know what you mean. I like to think i search 95% of my music out myself but it's nice to inherit a HDD and just steal loads of stuff you never got round to yourself.

Yep.It's a great way of imposing your music upon others too.
