A Certain Ratio - I'd Like To See You Again
This is my second ACR album and although I've only given it one listen I like it. Gotta love that chorusey slap bass.

VA The Year of the Dog: Traditional Chinese Music
Stumbled across Chinese Traditional music on Amazon somehow and decided to check some out. This was the cheapest one on the list. :)
Edit: The booklet for this is actually pretty cool as well. It has a paragraph or so describing every song and the story that it's supposed to tell. I'm likin this.

^ My friend told me she's gonna get me like 20 CDs of traditional Chinese music, from her Grandpa who went visiting 2 weeks ago (they are a family of musicians) so I'm expecting something good.

Maybe recommend you something for after.

I stumbled upon a couple of great blogs full of music that makes me feel like I'm 16 again.

It's Motorhead meets Tank meets Discharge meets G.B.H. Is it a Metal album or a Punk album? Who cares? It's bloody great!

Just like Voivod, they twisted the typical Thrash sound and came up with an album as intriguing as it is listenable. I have missed this baby.

Remember those really cool T Shirt designs Metallica had in the late 80's? They were by Pushead and this is his Hardcore Punk band from the mid 80's onwards. Primitive but very influential at the time.

Seminal Aussie Punk band still cranking out the goods with this 2000 effort. Melodic punk with attitude and tunes.

You should put the good ones in the albums you're digging thread because I think quite a few of us would be interested in checking those out. Pretty please :D

When you get them, of course.
