A lot of the melodies felt a bit too familiar. They seemed like an imitation of some Radiohead songs. Didn't catch any favorites for now, tho still enjoyed it from my first listen.

I suggested starting at the beginning, but the first one is also my favourite too.

Ah Cama-Sotz - Dead Cities (2007)

Industrial with lots of black metal touches that's charged with an electropop pulse that you can dance to. Surprisingly innovative stuff.

Big Big Train - The Underfall Yard (2009)

Sorta came out of the left field, but this is by far the best progressive rock album to be released this year. Everything, from vocals to production to the instrumentation, is so well-done that it nearly frightens me.

Yuki Kajiura - Boogiepop Music Album: Inspired by Boogiepop and Others (2000)

Music inspired by a cool anime with a definite trip-hop bent. It's rife with propulsive energy but full of little classical touches that provide elegance too. Nice!
