We both enjoyed the album.
I have it on CD, and she wanted the Vinyl.

I do admit, however, it's not one of his better albums. (although, it was much better than encore)

I didn't like it at all. I'm a big fan of his first three though.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

A lot of people didn't like it. The first time or two I listened to it, it quickly grew on me, and I really ended up loving the album.

It's a little more "horrorcore" for a mainstream album, I guess you could say.

Got randomly dragged to NYC this weekend, so I came back with quite a lot of music. Here goes:

The Electric Bunnies - Through The Magical Door

This just might have skipped the whole list to be my favorite record from 2009. The band has an overall ambient garage pop sound that remains through the album, but they basically lead you through a psychedelic journey that encompasses tons of different sounds, sometimes on one track. Best thing from my new loot.

Ex Cocaine/Yellow Swans Split

Cage - Depart From Me...

Got that one for just $3.

Other stuff, vinyl:
Hudson Mohawke - Butter
Baron Zen - Rhythm Trax Vol. 3
Lootpack - Soundpieces: Da Antidote
Karl Hector + The Malcouns - Sahara Swing
Sun Ra - Angels and Demons at Play
Sun Ra - The Magic City
Madlib - Beat Konducta Vol 5. Dil Cosby Suite
Quasimoto - The Unseen
dam-funk - burgundy city
J Dilla - Jay Dee Donuts
Kronos Quartet - Music of Bill Evans
Ghost Mice/Saw Wheel Split
Abstract Rude - Rejuvenation
Dilated Peoples - Expansion Team
GYBE! - Life Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven
Slick Rick - The Great Adventures of Slick Rick
Frisk Frugt - Guldtrompeten

CD:
Nurse With Wound - Paranoia in Hi-Fi
Sunburned Hand of the Man - Loose Bugs
White Noise - An Electric Storm
The Dreamers - O'o (the opposite of Naked City)

Terry Callier - The New Folk Sound of Terry Callier (1965)

Been trying to track down a good copy of this for ages, and dammmmn was it worth the effort! How can I even begin to describe how awesome this melding of 1960's soul & folk is? If you love John Martyn and/or Tom Waits, you will think this flew down straight from heaven.
